When President Moi visited the Kabaka of Buganda

In July 1998, President Daniel Arap Moi was on a state visit to Uganda. During his visit, his host President Yoweri Museveni took him to Bulange Mengo to meet the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

They held private talks that were attended by the two heads of state, the Kabaka and his Katikkiro Joseph Mulwanyammuli Ssemwogerere. They later on jointly addressed the Buganda Lukiiko (Buganda's Parliament).

Here's the historical photo I took with my Yashika Camera at the steps of Bulange in Mengo.
Left to right Owek. Joseph Mulwanyammuli Ssemwogerere the Katikkiro of Buganda, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Ssaabasajja Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, President Daniel Arap Moi, Omumbejja Diana Teyeggala and Rev. Daniel Kajumba the Secretary of Buganda Lukiiko.
Rest in Peace President Daniel Arap Moi.

He was very instrumental in the restoration of the East African Community
